i thought it was a mini hornet too, but that was a while back.  glad to hear it went to a good home.  Might have to do a side by side with another 8ft comet to see if there is a different feel with kevlar glassing.

p.s.  comets don't like dribble.  wait til ya get her moving.  that's when the fun starts.

Pefa, I took my Comet "copy" out today in shoulder high waves and had a blast. It gets into 'em easy and is fun to ride. It is much more foiled in the nose and tail than my other boards so it turtles under waves nicely. Prolly going to be a great board to ride in the fall if we get lucky this year.

what size fin do you have in it?
last few days have been more about the tri's
can't wait for some good shape, not chop to really try it..... w/ a 10+ fin need speed and shape and yeeeehaw
