After having that art party, Rock has def displayed some serious talents & that was in a group of surfers who never really shared much with each other, here is a great local art related org that should be supported. The more of us join, the better it gets.

They finished Cracky the whale. They had a band come & play & Geoff (the artist) sported a Top hat in celebration. Tho its not my favorite peice of work, it sows that the artists are more active in this town then some city officials. From what I understand they alliance has a lil clout around town & to be honest if surfers got in tight with them, it might not be a bad thing. Not to mention its such a cool frickin idea and unlike the super artsy world, anyone can join.

Yup, I'm a member, and so are a few other people on here.  They have different exhibits every month or so at the 2 galleries in Ft. Tilden and they run lots of cool programs, including free art programs for kids (something seriously lacking these days).  I think Kui and Surfrider hooked up with them last year for the summer camp.  Anyway, good stuff going on and anyone can join.
