So I took this board out for the 1st time on Friday.

Everything thing about this board is perfect. It's not a board I would want to ride on a hollow day. It's not what I would ride on a head high day. ( We rarely get any of the above.)

If you want to go for back to back cheater 5's with very little effort this is the board for you.  10 up, no problem but I can't actually claim that yet.

I've only had the opportunity to ride it once but with time and wave I can really see myself loving this board. Dancing up front like the Devil on Prom night with my tail up in the air.

Catching a wave is fairly easy with the length. Slowing the board down is a bit of a journey. Stepping on the tail won't do, stomping helps but laying it back double footed then running up is the way to go.

It's smooth yet forgiving, like an old peat filled scotch. I really want to learn how to ride this thing because it really wants to be ridden.

Completely different boards. All I have to do is think about changing directions and the TB will go and return with very little effort. With the Rocker on the TB I would totally take it out on Hallow and over head waves.
TB = Performance
Hansen = smooth lines, lots of walking, nose time.

That there's a two board quiver.

Those Hansen's are smooth looking boards.

smooth looking boards
... I was reading that and thinking, dam, I don't even know what that board looks like. I have no idea how that board actually looks and I spent 2 to 4 hours on that board so far.

What's even sadder is I know what Cologros Hansen looks like because it has a red, white and blue Bastille day theme. But that doesn't help me one bit.

I know it has a ton of repaired dings all over and I remember a little discoloration on a repair in the tail but I'm still drawing a blank.

The logo is basic Hansen with 50-50 on it. That might be it tho, Oh the Fin is 9 1/2 and reddish brown. I think.

Maybe it surfs a lot better then it looks cause all I remember are the wavos.
