throw in the funky currents, especially at hell's gate, and, from watching those guys last year, it's more like the equivalent of running a marathon backwards carrying a monkey on your back.

This is an awesome feat! good on you guys. I would never be able to do it... well maybe if I trained, but not SUP definitely regular paddleing on a paddleboard. those currents are effing no joke...

arrgh. i can't see the pic - i think my work blocks it. i guess it depends on how ready you are. even a little squirrel monkey could be a huge nuisance for 28 wet, stinky miles.....

watch, now onefin is gonna find a monkey to put on his board....

I'd love to think that I could train hard enough to do this....by NEXT year august. Major props to anyone and everyone who's able to do this and has signed up to participate, and 1000 times more for the cause it benefits.
