Anyone live on 124th or close by? My lease in LB is up in Sept. And I want to keep my options open. One of my coworkers lives on 124th in the building on the Boardwalk. There are a couple spots apts open. The rent would be less then I am paying now, with parking and a bigger place (I cant begin to tell how huge that is after living in LB with no parking)

So, hows the surf, area and everything else, I am super lazy now because it breaks so well right in front of my place I dont want to have to walk or especially drive to surf.

Don't you know TC you can't move from lb to rock.  The only smart move is Rock to LB....it's what the cool people do.  Seriously though, no deal on waves on 124th.  It might break every now and then, but that's it.  To surf you'll have to bike 15 minutes to the break.

TC -- Vote for Change. 124th is not a bad local, on the boardwalk could be fun. Not far from the Ferry or A train and even an express bus...

As far as waves go... ummm it's a beach, finding a half decent wave will be easy. This way or that or sometimes right out front.

It appears that you and Jake share an enjoyment of beer and TALKING about surfing.  Oh wait I take that back, Jake has returned to the ranks of participant as of a week ago.

Frroky I was thinking the same thing, haters... As far as I'm concerned Rock is getting better one person at a time, If Jake leave that counts for 2.  Grin
