Surf Hungry

East Coast Summer
East Coast Fall
Too many days
I just hit the wall

Overhead and pumping
Then flat is the call
Waking up praying
for lows to come and then stall

I’m surf hungry
Surf hungry
It’s the fate of my coast
To be surf hungry too long

Another week comes
With nothing on tap
A front passes through
But it’s really a trap

Amazing short swells
and long flat spells collide
Waiting for more
You’re starving inside

You’re surf hungry
Surf hungry
It’s the fate of your coast
To be surf hungry too long

So inconsistent
Systems come and they die
Watching the forecast
When’s the next ride?

We gather and watch
For storms to arrive
Making our plans
Where will we drive?

We’re surf hungry
Surf hungry
It’s the fate of our coast
To be surf hungry too long

Surf hungry
Surf hungry
We're starving inside

Surf hungry
Surf hungry
It’s the fate of our lives

Surf hungry
Surf hungry
Alone and together
We're surf hungry too long
